The Macallan The Reach 81 Years Old is a historic release, drawn from a single sherry-seasoned oak cask laid down in 1940 and bottled in 2021. Just 288 decanters were created worldwide.
- Aroma: Rich treacle, leather, tobacco and antique oak.
- Palate: Dark chocolate, molasses, cinnamon and charred wood with underlying fruit.
- Finish: Intensely long, with a balance of sweetness and smoke.
