The whisky celebrates the theme of nature’s circularity, as embodied in Mackintosh’s 1902 stained-glass work, The Spirit of the Rose. The expression is bottled at 50.4% ABV and aged in European oak casks seasoned with sherry, delivering rich aromas of raisin, fig, and cherry, with notes of vanilla, ginger, and apple on the palate..
