Description
Umiki takes its name from the Japanese words for ocean (umi) and tree (ki). Described as the world’s first ocean-fused whisky, it combines ocean-side distilled Japanese malt whiskies and imported grain whiskies with desalinated ocean water, and is finished in Japanese pine barrels. It is bottled at 46% ABV.
The pine barrel finish and the ocean-fused method give the whisky a fresh, coastal character with a soft floral side.
Tasting notes: a sea breeze aroma, a rounded floral palate and a refreshing, soothing finish.
