Description
Tomatin 8 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the Tomatin distillery, which lies in the village of the same name south of Inverness and draws its water from the Allt na Frìthe burn. The whisky is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks.
The bourbon casks contribute vanilla and orchard fruit, while the sherry casks add a little depth and spice, giving a sweet, fruity and easy-drinking malt that suits newcomers to single malt as well as seasoned drinkers looking for an everyday dram.
