Description
Tomatin 14 Year Old joined the core range of the Tomatin distillery, near Inverness in the Scottish Highlands, in 2014. The whisky is matured in bourbon barrels before a finishing period in Tawny Port casks, and is bottled at 46% ABV.
The Port finish adds red fruit and a touch of richness to the soft, fruity Tomatin house style, making it a rewarding everyday Highland malt with a little more depth.
- Nose: Honeydew melon, red berries, baked apple, toffee, butterscotch and a hint of dark chocolate.
- Palate: Stone fruits such as peach, apricot and plum, with walnut and pecan.
- Finish: Lingering and fruity.
