Description
Talisker Dark Storm takes the bold, maritime style of the Isle of Skye distillery and turns up the intensity. Originally created for the travel retail market, it is matured in heavily charred oak casks, which add an extra layer of smoke and spice to the peppery Talisker spirit.
The result is darker and more brooding than the classic 10 Year Old, with deep smoke and briny sea spray balanced by a touch of sweetness from the charred wood. It is bottled at 45.8% ABV, the same strength as the core Talisker range.
It suits drinkers who want a powerful, smoky single malt with plenty of coastal character.
