Description
Suntory Toki is a blended Japanese whisky created by the House of Suntory to bring together malt and grain whisky from its three distilleries: Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita. Toki means time in Japanese, a nod to the way the blend bridges Suntory’s heritage with a fresh, modern style.
At its heart are Hakushu malt, with its green, herbal freshness, and Chita grain whisky, which gives a light, silky body, supported by malt from Yamazaki. The result is crisp and bright rather than heavy, and it is bottled at 43% ABV.
Toki was designed with mixing in mind and has become a modern benchmark for the Japanese highball.
How to serve: For the classic Toki highball, fill a tall glass with ice, add one part whisky to three or four parts chilled soda water, stir gently and garnish with a twist of lemon or grapefruit peel.
