From the tropical coast of Goa, India, Paul John Christmas Edition 2019 is a limited seasonal release from John Distilleries: a small batch of older single malts finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Gently peated and bottled at 46% ABV, it balances festive richness with a light thread of smoke. Paul John’s Christmas editions are keenly followed by collectors.
- Nose: Pralines, baked apple, caramel cheesecake, orange blossom honey, salted cereal and blond chocolate.
- Palate: Sweet heather honey and raisins, dry plum, light mocha and light smoke.
- Finish: Long, with spiced French toast and smoked nuts.
