Description
KISS Black Diamond is a super premium dark rum from the KISS spirits range, which also includes KISS Cold Gin and Hotter Than Hell. It was launched in October 2020 and is named after the closing track on the band’s 1974 debut album.
It is a master-blended mix of Caribbean cask rums, with the oldest aged up to 15 years. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
- Nose: pronounced oak with dried fruit, butterscotch, vanilla and orange peel.
- Palate: restrained sweetness and marked oak, with dried apricot, dates, vanilla fudge, nuts, cinnamon and a touch of chocolate.
- Finish: slightly spicy and well rounded.
It suits sipping neat or over a little ice, and the dried fruit and spice also work well in an Old Fashioned style rum cocktail. Available from Decanter Liquor with delivery across South Africa.
