The Glenallachie 12 Year Old New Label is the cornerstone of the Speyside distillery’s core range under Master Distiller Billy Walker, who acquired GlenAllachie in 2017. Matured in a combination of Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheons, Oloroso sherry puncheons and virgin oak casks, it is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and at natural colour. Long fermentation times of up to 160 hours give a robust, fruity spirit that stands up well to the intense sherry influence, making it one of the most rewarding choices of premium whisky in South Africa.
