Description
Glen Grant Arboralis is a single malt from Glen Grant, the Speyside distillery founded in Rothes in 1840 by brothers James and John Grant. Carrying no age statement, it is matured in a combination of American ex-bourbon casks and Spanish ex-sherry casks and bottled at 40% ABV, offering a fresh, fruit-led introduction to the distillery.
- Nose: Floral and fruity, with raisins, honeysuckle and a twist of lemon.
- Palate: Butterscotch and dried fruit with gentle oak and a little spice.
- Finish: Long, with malty vanilla, pear and a hint of citrus.
How to serve: Arboralis is relaxed enough to sip neat or over ice, and its bright fruit character also works well in a highball with soda water or ginger ale.
