This Islay single malt is bottled at 46.6% ABV and is non-chill filtered. Its famously rounded character is achieved by marrying spirit matured in a mix of casks: sweet Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, charred virgin oak and classic ex-bourbon barrels. The casks are then brought together in a French oak “Gathering Vat” to allow the different influences to fuse.
