Description
The aroma leans towards vanilla, caramel-covered popcorn, and fresh apples. Moving on to the taste, the rye is light-bodied and spice forward with a little char smoke. The whiskey is prickly on the palate, but there’s enough softness there to help not feel drying or rough/tannic. The finish is short, but pleasant enough with a bittersweet, tangy profile. Not a sipper, but fine to shoot or mix especially at this price point.
