Color – Nice Amber Gold Mix // Nose – Sherry and crisp apples, toffee, vanilla and fresh cut oak. Its a very pleasant aroma, it does not overpower and requires no drops of water even though the proof is a bit higher than average. // Palate – Fruit cake, orange zest, green apples, vanilla, butterscotch and ice cream. The nose to me is not as tasty as the palate. The nose was too soft and quite floral almost, but the palate is dark, rich and has many complexities within complexities. Very nice balance between the fruits and the creaminess. Soft warm mouth feel, no burn. // Finish – Long and spicy with caramel, honey, green apples and a hint of florals.
