Located in the heart of Speyside since 1836, Glenfarclas, from the Gaelic ‘Glen of the Green Grassland’, has been owned and managed by just one family, The Grants of Glenfarclas, for 6 generations. Pure spring water, malted barley and yeast is all that goes into Glenfarclas. Distilled twice in traditional direct fired copper pot stills, the largest in Speyside, this whisky is made to age. Matured on- site in traditional dunnage warehouses using 100% Spanish sherry casks. Only the finest European oak casks are selected from a particular family run Bodega in Spain previously used for the maturation of fine Oloroso sherry.
