Royal Salute Whisky is a complex blend, first released in 1953 and a malted heart of Strathisla, a workhorse distillery that provides most of its spirit to the blends of Diageo. With at least 40% Malt, this is a superior Scotch that has been making whisky connoisseurs happy for more than 70 years. // Nose: Very Sweet, fruity, cinnamon caramel and cherry. // Palate: Sweet with honey, hazelnuts and hint of smoke, very malty // Finish: Oak with sweet grain.
